Forthcoming Weekend Transport Disruption

Tube and train services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel over the weekend, the following lines are affected by engineering works.

Southwesttrains

Sunday 4 October

All lines in the Barnes area and part of Clapham Junction station will be closed all day Sunday for maintenance work. Buses will replace trains between Clapham Junction and Twickenham via Richmond, and between Clapham Junction and Kew Bridge.

- Trains which run between Waterloo and Reading, and between Waterloo and Windsor will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham, running via Wimbledon and Kingston 

- Trains to and from Woking via Hounslow and Staines will start from / terminate at Kew Bridge.

- Queenstown Road station will have no service and passengers should use other stations nearby.

Circle Line Weekend Engineering works

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October

No service between Edgware Road and Hammersmith. This is to allow for track replacement work at Latimer Road and line improvement work at Hammersmith.

Replacement buses operate Hammersmith - Shepherd's Bush Green (for Shepherd's Bush Market and Goldhawk Road) - Shepherd's Bush (for Central line) - Latimer Road - Ladbroke Grove - Westbourne Park - Royal Oak - Paddington - Edgware Road.

HAMMERSMITH & CITY LINE

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October

No service between Hammersmith and Edgware Road. This is to allow for track replacement work at Latimer Road and line improvement work at Hammersmith. Replacement buses operate.

Replacement buses operate Hammersmith - Shepherd's Bush Green (for Shepherd's Bush Market and Goldhawk Road) - Shepherd's Bush (for Central line) - Latimer Road - Ladbroke Grove - Westbourne Park - Royal Oak - Paddington - Edgware Road.

Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November

No service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. Replacement buses operate.

PICCADILLY LINE Weekend Engineering Works

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October

No service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Use the Metropolitan line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge, and replacement buses between Acton Town and Rayners Lane. Due to the closure of the District line between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway, trains call additionally at Turnham Green throughout the weekend.

PICCADILLY LINE Weekend Engineering Works

Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November

No service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Use the Metropolitan line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge, and replacement buses between Acton Town and Rayners Lane. Due to the closure of the District line between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway, trains call additionally at Turnham Green throughout the weekend.
