Coming Up at Barons Court Theatre

Enjoy Moliere's Best Known Play L'Avare

From Tuesday October 11 until October 30, Something Wicked Theatre stage a new production of Moliere's best-known play L'Avare (The Miser) in French.

This comedy of manners is set in a contemporary banking milieu where millions are made and lost at the touch of a computer-screen. Harpagon's obsession with money for its own sake is a very topical one, as it has potentially serious consequences for those around him.

The play therefore shows this 17-century farce to be as relevant now as it ever was.

Performances are at 7.45pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays and 6.30pm on Sundays, with additional matinee performances at 2.30pm on October 12,13,15,18, 22 and 29.

Tickets cost £12 (£10 concessions) until October 23 and £14 (£12 concessions) from October 25 until October 30.

Barons Court Theatre is at the Curtains Up at 28a Comeragh Road, London W14.

To buy tickets, contact the box office on 0208 932 4747 or email londontheatre@gmail.com stating performance date and number of tickets required.
