Summertime Fun Continues at Kings Mall


Keep the kids happy till the new term begins

Looking for ways to keep the children entertained as the summer holidays come to a close?  Kings Mall shopping centre has lots of free fun and games on offer right through till the first week in September.

On Friday and Saturday, August 21 and 22 and again on 28 and 29, Alakazam will be entertaining the crowds with free face painting, balloon modelling and lots of wacky costumes. Join in the laughter from 11am till 4pm.

The Children’s Traffic Club, a successful road safety scheme developed to help parents teach road skills to three and four year olds, will be at the mall on Friday August 21, offering lively half hour shows with stories, song and dance highlighting the key road safety messages.

Back to School Arts and Crafts Workshops will run from 11am till 4pm on August 29, 30 and 31, offering children the opportunity to decorate and personalise their own pencil cases, P.E bags and caps in preparation for the new term.

Lastly, on September 1 and 2, Petwise Petting Zoo will visit the mall, offering kids the chance to see and handle a range of animals from rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and chicks to the more exotic creatures such as lizards and snakes. This event, always a hit with youngsters, will also have a full timetable of activities such as beetle racing, animal grooming and feeding.   

Kings Mall Centre Manager Bob Stammers says: " We have plenty of fun and exciting activities to keep the children occupied and best of al, everything is free."
