Four days of special events
Four days of special events are planned for Lyric Square.
'Spring Into', organised by the Council's events team, starts on Wednesday April 22 and will feature free entertainment for all the family and a special celebration of St George’s Day.
The events include:
Wednesday April 22: Come and learn the skills of the circus with Albert and Friends. Why not try your hand at juggling, stilt walking or maybe even have a go on the unicycle?
Thursday April 23: To celebrate St George's Day, a brass band will be performing some of the nation's favourite pieces of music. Get ready to wave your St George flag and tap you feet to classic brass band hits.
Friday April 24: Come and 'Dance on the Square!' Lyric Square will be transformed into a huge dance floor as local groups of various dance performers come to Hammersmith.
Saturday April 25: Meet the animals at a 'Farm in the City'. Mingle with the sheep, goats and ducks at an event that will prove to be hugely popular for children.
All of the events will take place from 12noon to 4pm.
