Black Lion Hosts Weekly Farmers' Market

Taking place outside Skittle Alley Coffee and Pantry, now open daily

A new weekly farmers' market has been launched in the garden of the The Black Lion Pub in South Black Lion Lane, next to the river.

The market is open every Saturday from 9am - 1pm
outside the newly renovated Skittle Alley which now houses Skittle Alley Coffee & Pantry - a new coffee shop opened by residents together with the farmers' market to serve the local community. 

As well as Saturday mornings, Skittle Alley Coffee and Pantry is open Monday to Friday from 8am till noon.

The market has farmers attending from as far as Somerset and Cambridgeshire with a wide array of produce. including fine meats, cheeses, raw milk, vegetables and salad.

There are also artisan breads, organic eggs and cooks' essentails such as lemons, garlic and fresh herbs, plus coffee, tea, fresh juices and a "small but perfectly formed" breakfast menu.
