Fancy Trying Abseiling Or Walking May Be More Your Thing?

The VSO would love you to be involved!

International development charity, VSO, has two fun events taking place this March we'd love you to get involved with:

Take the plunge and abseil 200FT in the fight against poverty! On Friday 5 March why not see London from a different angle and abseil 200ft down Capital Tower, Waterloo as part of VSO's Big Thrill?

Here's the perfect opportunity to take to the rooftops and enjoy a bird's eye view over London while experiencing the thrill of an abseil. The minimum sponsorship that we ask participants to raise is an achievable £230. By raising money through this exciting challenge you will be supporting VSO's work in over 40 of the world's poorest countries where our volunteers are working to provide lasting solutions to poverty and disadvantage. Find out more and sign up now at www.vso.org.uk/bigthrill.

Walk VSO - walk for women's health worldwide
On Sunday, 7 March, the day before International Women's Day, VSO supporters all round the UK are walking to raise awareness and funds to improve healthcare for women around the world. You can join a walk near you (there closest to Putney is in Richmond Park), or organise your own and invite your family and friends along. To find out more and register online at www.walkforvso.org.uk.
