March is a busy month for Hammersmith Community Gardens Association with the introduction of two new events, One Pot Cooking at Phoenix School Farm and a weekly Refugee Gardening Group.

Each Friday at Phoenix Farm, find out how to make simple, delicious one-pot meals,  Each week will see the making of two different meals, which will include vegetarian, meat, spicy and non-spicy. 

After cooking together everyone will share the food and will be given the recipe to take home.  No booking is required and you can attend as many or as few sessions as you wish.  All sessions are 12-2pm.  If you cannot attend the whole session you are welcome from 1-2pm for lunch.

This month the association is also running a trial refugee gardening group on four Wednesdays at Ravenscourt Park Glasshouses.  If successful it is hoped to continue the group weekly.

The sessions are for local refugees who wish to learn English while undertaking simple and enjoyable gardening tasks.
