The Bushstock Festival is Back on Saturday in Venues Across W12

Tickets still available for shows by Aurora and many other upcoming bands

Norwegian singer Aurora is the headline act at this year’s festival and other names confirmed for the annual celebration of indie music include Peace, Flyte, Haus, Aquilo and Billie Marten.

Curated by the indie label Communion, festival spaces in the past have popped up all over the place – in churches, hotels, social clubs and courtyards, at Bush Hall and at bars around Shepherds Bush Green and along Uxbridge Road.

This is the eighth staging of Bushstock, with around 30 up-and-coming bands expected to take part, each playing a pick of their latest numbers in slots ranging from half an hour to an hour.

On Saturday 23 June, between midday and midnight, the other acts will include Abi Ocia, Adam French, Another Sky, Freya Ridings, Maisie Peters, Matt Woods, Stereo Honey, The Beach, FEET, Grace Carter, Hollow Coves, Ida Mae, Joel Baker, King No One, Lily Moore, Night Flight, Sam Fender and TORS.

Aurora, who has been writing songs since she was nine (she’s now 21), recently sold out a show at London’s Hoxton Hall, and is enthusiastic about being part of the Bushstock line-up. "It’s going to be intimate and lovely," she says. "We’ll all become one beautiful organism. I’m looking forward to it."

Tickets, priced £35 plus £3.50 booking fee) are on sale here.
