Could You Become a Crimestopper?

Charity seeks South West Londoners to join new committee

Independent charity Crimestoppers is looking for people living in South West London who are passionate about making their community a safer place to live, work or play to join its fight against crime.

Crimestoppers, which is dedicated to helping law enforcement to locate criminals and help solve crimes, says: "We are looking to recruit volunteers to form a new South West London Committee. The Committee will be responsible for fundraising, campaigning on, and raising awareness of, issues that affect local residents.

"Whether your expertise is in fundraising, campaigning, secretarial, administration or book-keeping and managing a budget, there is a role for you."

Crimestoppers adds that this will be an exciting and challenging experience for someone looking to get involved with and contribute to a dynamic charity.

To take up the challenge, people must able to offer sufficient time each month to contribute to at least one volunteer meeting in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
