'Leave' Campaigners to Hold Rally at Hammersmith Town Hall


Free tickets available online for event on Tuesday ahead of EU Referendum

On Tuesday, May 31, Hammersmith Town Hall is holding a rally open to the general public in support of a vote for leaving the EU.

Sponsored by the Eurosceptic thinktank The Bruges group, the evening, taking place ahead of the referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union shall take place on June 23 is expecting to draw in people from across the country as well as our local Borough.

The cross-party event is set to hear from big players on the leave campaign including former Foreign Secretary and SDP founder Lord David Owen, Conservative MEP and author of ‘Why Vote Leave’ Daniel Hannan, UKIP’s Douglas Carswell MP and Labour’s Graham Stringer MP.

The event, which is free to attend begins at 7pm with doors open from 6.30pm.

Organisers of the event say it aims to put across the positive reasons for voting to leave the EU and will also feature a Q&A session, with speakers promising to answer as many questions as possible.
