North End Road's Gothic Church Become The Lourdes Collection

Offering million pound plus apartments and penthouse

The iconic Gothic Church on the corner of North End Road and Chesson Road is being redeveloped to create eight apartments and a penthouse - with prices between £1,275,000 for a two bedroom apartment and £1,875,000 for the three bedroom penthouse.

The church, which was recently used as a store selling beds, was built in 1887 by architect AH Goodall.

The developers IPE Developments say the building will now form the frame of a landmark conversion into a collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments and duplexes, plus a three bedroom penthouse, set within the building’s roof line on the third floor with a mezzanine above.

The developers say that the character of the masonry and its sense of proportion, as well as much of the original Victorian detailing including the hand-carved stone arches and tracery, has been lovingly restored.

A show home at the development is now open and the apartments are for sale through estate agent Dexters.
