Boys Robbed on Furnival Gardens

Knife used to obtain cash and mobile phone

Two sixteen year old boys were the victims of a robbery on Furnival Gardens near the A4 on Wednesday 18th July at 10.10pm.

The victim and his friend were walking with a group into Furnival Gardens and sat for a short time in the centre of the park area drinking. Two males approached them (from the direction of Chiswick). The first suspect, who was wearing a balaclava, approached them demanded some money. He then produced a knife and held it to one of the boy's throat, however he had no property to hand over . The robber then approached the second boy and again demanded some money putting the knife to the victim’s chest. He handed over his Motorola mobile phone and about £5 worth of loose change.

The knife was described as being curved blade of about 6 inches. The suspects then made off towards King Street. The person who yielded the knife is described as a white male, aged around 17 years, 5ft 9in of a stocky build with a London accent and wearing a dark jacket and light/beige trousers. He was accompanied by another white male aged 16-17, 5ft 7in, short light brown hair with a pale complexion and wearing a white t-shirt and dark tracksuit bottoms.
